SKIN NEEDLING

Skin needling is a natural treatment carried out to improve skin texture, smooth wrinkles and fine lines and soften scars.
It works by using surgical grade needles to create microscopic “punctures” in the top layer of your skin. This activates a self-healing wound response. As your skin heals, it produces collagen which forms a new layer of fresh tissue, creating a more youthful appearance on the surface and fighting antibodies beneath.

Immediately post treatment the skin will appear red and will feel sunburnt, the redness can last anywhere from 12-48hrs depending on the depth of treatment. Day 3-5 you can experience a tight, dry sensation with potential mild to moderate flaking. Mild breakouts can also be experienced due to the stimulation of the treatment.

Results when correcting specific skin conditions will be seen after each treatment in a series of treatments. Collagen can take up to 3-6 months to form within the skin so best results will be a few months after your treatments.
